HARK prints photographed by Tara Darby

21 Feb

Last week I did a photo shoot with the lovely Tara Darby, photographing some of my recent artworks and the HARK artworks. We had a great time creating the still lifes together. Here is the photo of the HARK prints and of the prints made into 3D totems. To see the rest of the photos click here.

slight change…

9 Feb

There’s been a slight change to our installation due to an unfortunate incident. Some of our totems were damaged and stolen last week so we have had to reconfigure our installation slightly. You can see pictures of our original display in our blog post ‘show pics‘ and view the beautiful pictures taken by Jeff Metal on the Jaguar Shoes website.

It was a challenging 4 days but we’re very excited about the final result!

behind the scenes // animation

20 Jan

Only a couple more days till the show! Here’s a little “step back in time”, when we shot the animation back in October.

The idea of making a stop motion animation came to us one day when I was telling Andy I’d alway wanted to make one and we realised our HARK creatures would be perfectly suited to that. It was loads of fun to shoot and we’re both very excited to see the final result of our very first attempt at stop motion! Ben Pearce is at the editing commands and Julian Fenner is making a custom-made soundtrack for it. Lucky us!

A huge thanks to Adam Laycock without whose generosity and help this animation might never have come to life.
